LeSoie 10 in 1 Masque Reparateur

Before moving to Dubai I never had a problem with my hair. It was thick, shiny and manageable as long as I was consistent with my hair oil treatments and not using too many heat styling tools.

About 3 months after I moved to the warmer climate, I noticed that my hair was beginning to thin even though I was still oiling my hair regularly and keeping styling tool use to a minimum. My hair wasn't as strong as it use to be, it was getting oily very quickly, and it was starting to fall out more than usual.

At first I didn't pay much attention to this as I figured that my scalp and hair was just adapting to the new climate. But a month later it continued to behave the same way at which point instead of oiling my hair once a month, I began to oil it once a week.

In a panic, I searched forums and saw that dry hair and scalp was a common problem in Dubai due to not only the weather, but also the water. Because of the high content of salt in the water, not only your hair, but also your scalp are effected.

So, in order to try to fix this problem I began to rinse my hair with bottled water after my regular hair wash. This helped somewhat and I was seeing a little bit of a difference, but there was still a few issues like itchy scalp and limp lack-luster hair.

I recently connected with the team at LeSoie Cosmetics and spoke to them about the issues I was facing with my hair and they recommended I try their 10 in 1 hair mask.

Made with amino acids and limnanthes alba cocktail, the hair mask promises to leave your hair nourished and soft after 5-10 minutes of use; plus, it smells amazing.

How I Used The Hair Mask

In the past I would have used a conditioning hair mask after my shampoo, left the hair mask on for 5 minutes and rinsed it out.

But this time I wanted to leave it on for at least 30 minutes so that the mask could really get into my hair and scalp. So instead of washing and shampooing my hair, adding a hair mask, waiting 30 minutes and then washing it out again (which I found to be time consuming for having to go in and out of the shower in between, or waiting in the shower during that time), I did the conditioning treatment first.

With my hair dry, I first sectioned it off and began to massage the mask into my scalp, from the roots to the ends of my hair.

After I was sure that I had gotten every strand of hair, I put it up into a messy bun and got on with my weekend house chores.

After an hour, I hopped into the shower, washed out the mask and then shampooed and conditioned as usual.

The Results

So far, amazing.

I could feel the difference immediately after I washed the hair mask out. It felt soft and silky in the shower - which was a big difference to how it had felt before using the mask. Even after the shampoo and condition, my hair was still silky to touch and the beautiful scent from the hair mask remained.

As my hair air-dried, I could definitely see a change for the better. It was shinier and it felt healthier. The dead ends that I was starting to see had also disappeared.

I've been using this for the past few weeks now and I can see a difference in my hair's texture and feel. I can't stress how important it is to invest in better, and the right, products for your hair. Before moving to Dubai I used drug store brands and they worked fine, but in this hot and dry climate it is so so important that I use better products. The way I see it, I would rather spend a bit more now than regret it at a later stage.
