Dinner at Ruya Dubai

Food. Wine. Company.

Add to that great ambience and it makes for the perfect evening.

We recently went to Ruya Dubai for dinner after seeing that it had won Best Middle Eastern Restaurant at the What's On Awards, Dubai.

Luxury Stay at Raffles Dubai

Every year for our anniversary we try to go on a quick getaway or a staycation. For our 6 year anniversary this year the hubby planned a stay at Raffles Dubai.

You might know Raffles Dubai as the pyramid hotel, it is currently also the number 1 hotel in Dubai as per Trip Advisor so it was at the top of our list of places to stay.

As you enter the hotel the first thing you see is a stunning waterfall, a beautiful lounge and the elegant reception. We were treated to a cup of Arabic coffee as we checked in, and then were escorted to our suite by our check in assistant.

My jaw dropped as we entered the Diplomatic Suite.

LeSoie 10 in 1 Masque Reparateur

Before moving to Dubai I never had a problem with my hair. It was thick, shiny and manageable as long as I was consistent with my hair oil treatments and not using too many heat styling tools.

About 3 months after I moved to the warmer climate, I noticed that my hair was beginning to thin even though I was still oiling my hair regularly and keeping styling tool use to a minimum. My hair wasn't as strong as it use to be, it was getting oily very quickly, and it was starting to fall out more than usual.

A 3:30am wakeup call to get to the shoot location just before sunrise- and it was totally worth it.

Husband Styles Me: Part 1

I'm always a bit hesitant when Sahil (my husband) goes shopping and says that he's picked out something for me- even though he knows my style well and knows what suits me. There's just something about someone else picking out clothing for me that makes me a bit nervous.

The White & Blue Shirt Dress

Now that I'm settling back into the working life and becoming less exhausted after work, I have the time to focus on my blog a bit more!

Prescription Lab Coffee Scrub

I'm obsessed with skin care especially natural products. My current routine consists of an Estee Lauder cleanser, rose water and almond oil, and for me this combination works a charm.

I love to try different natural skincare products which is why when I received this coffee and sugar scrub from Prescription Lab, I was excited to give it a go.

My Fitness Journey: Week 3

Well, it was a slow week.

Seriously, I went to the gym three times.

My Fitness Journey: Week 2

Week 2 started off slow. I woke up having not slept well and was NOT in the mood to go to the gym. Instead I got some work done, and in the afternoon I walked down to the beach- which ended up being 2 hours of me walking around enjoying the water, sand and sun - so I guess it worked out in the end.

Top South Asian Fashion Picks - March 2017

March marks the beginning of Spring and though it's always warm in Dubai, for other parts of the world it's time to start looking forward to that warm weather!

I still love researching upcoming hot trends in South Asian fashion and I absolutely love to share my finds with all of you. From lehengas to sarees to suits, what's hot and what's not? Lehengas were (and still are to an extent) a hot commodity; but sarees are endless elegance.

My Fitness Journey: Week 1

Does anyone else have difficulty finding that motivation to go to the gym? I know I'm not the only one! The hardest part is getting myself there, once I'm there though I could work out for hours!

Yachting In Dubai

Finally I'm getting some time to sit down and write another blog post. It's been too long!

February was a very busy month here. We were first travelling to India (I still can't believe it's only a 2.5 hour flight from Dubai to Mumbai!), and then we had family and friends visiting over 2 weeks. After which I needed a day to myself to literally do nothing, and then of course I got back into the groove of things.

Yachting in Dubai | Dubai Blogger | Scarlet Bindi

We recently had some friends visiting from the US, and amongst the many touristy things we did - yachting was one of them. Though I'm not sure if 'touristy' is the right word as many of the residents here go boating regularly.

Travel Diaries: Dubai Miracle Garden

I love being a tourist, even if it's in the city where I live!

Travel Diaries: Dubai Gold Souk

I'm not sure if this qualifies as 'travel' since I now live in Dubai, but I still feel like a tourist in this city - it's not quite home yet!

My parents recently visited us in Dubai and it was wonderful having them here. I've realized that as you get older, you start to cherish every single moment spent with family.
