Black & White: Ripped Jeans With A Body Suit

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and festive season! It's so hard to believe that tomorrow is New Year's Eve and 2016 has come to an end.

It's been an interesting (if not depressing) year with the world wide political situations and the many celebrities who have passed away, which is why as we move into 2017 we should also be looking at the good things that happened in 2016.

Let the positives propel us into a fabulous 2017 where we reach our goals and have the best year yet. This list from the tumblr account helthhatter puts everything positive that happened in 2016 together for you: Good Things that Happened in 2016

Believe me, this list is definitely worth taking a look at. It includes small and huge amazing things happening all over the world like:
  • 500 elephants being relocated to safer and bigger homes
  • Volunteers in India planting 50 million tress in 24 hours
  • New chemotherapy break throughs increasing 5-year survival for pancreatic cancer

I've read the the list a few times and it's definitely helped me to put a positive spin on 2016. And, just remember to keep in mind that any victory, even a small one, is a victory.

Now to my outfit, it's starting to get a bit chilly in the evenings here so this Ritu Kumar button up tunic is perfect to layer over top of a causal outfit. I kept it simple (as always) with my black ripped jeans, white high-neck body suit, and my black stiletto heels. I find that this outfit is perfect for dinner and drinks out- it's dressy but still casual at the same time.

I hope that this post gave a positive spin to 2016 for you and that you enjoy the last day of the year tomorrow. See you in 2017!
