It's been 7 months since we've been in Dubai and though there are difficult days being away from family and friends, we are enjoying it! It also makes it easier to know that we are just a flight away from them, and also that our home is always full with visitors getting away from those cold winters in Canada, USA and the UK. It's definitely interesting experiencing a hot winter as I'm so used to wearing heavy clothing during this time, as well as seeing snow or rain outside.
Today's outfit is all about the palazzo pants. I've always found palazzo pants to have a trendy touch to them. No matter what year and what other trends are in season, palazzos always look fashionable and fantastic. This pair I've had for a while but had an issue with them for a couple of reasons:
1. They are see through
2. I couldn't find the right top to wear with them
These pants were gifted to me on my birthday a few years ago and I really wanted to figure out a way to wear them since I really liked them. So finally, after experimenting with a few different options I've found what works for me.
What I do is wear tight bicycle shorts underneath and then either a crop-top (as the pants are high-waisted), or this long white tunic. I love the look of the white tunic with it as it gives the outfit a bit of an Eastern touch. It's sort of like a Punjabi suit without the dupatta (scarf). I added the brown Punjabi jhooti to the outfit since the pants would be too short if I wore them with heels - also these shoes look cute with them!
