Styled as a Creole-style beachside resort, it actually held similarities to the gorgeous old mansions in Southern USA (though I'm taking reference from Hollywood movies as I've never actually been to South USA). As you arrive to the hotel, you're greeted by a huge banyan tree.
The resort is a bit more secluded, you have to drive through a forest to get to it. Once there, the hotel and each villa overlooks the Indian ocean. The villas are made separate of one another, and each is secluded from the one next to it. There's a golf cart that takes you back and forth from your villa to the hotel lobby/restaurants, and (one of my favourite things) each villa has its own private pool!
This is the ideal hotel if you're on your honeymoon and want quiet and privacy. It's gorgeous and just steps from the beach.
