I think I can finally say that it's summer time in London! Which means a summer ready wardrobe for all those upcoming weddings! The designs featured today are perfect for summer events. From a mint green lehenga to a royal blue anarkali - these items could be worn at both day and evening events for the perfect look.

Personally, I would wear the Neeta Lulla anarkali for an engagement party, the Anushree Reddy lehenga for a day time wedding, and the Akshay Wadhwa anarkali for an evening wedding reception. How would you wear them?

Dressed: A Long Gown

It's the girly girl in me that I love getting dressed up. I have a thing for long sleeves, so this dress from MissGuided caught my eye as soon as I saw it. I especially love the subdued colour. I wanted to keep the outfit simple so stuck with neutral colours through my nude heels, nude lipstick and nude nails.

I recently attended a South Indian wedding in New Jersey and fell in love with silks. With most of the women at the wedding events wearing silks sarees, I couldn't take my eyes off of the rich fabric and vibrant colours. So this week's picks consist of luscious silks in the form of an anarkali, saree and lehengas.

To me silks are statement pieces that can be worn to get that immediate classy and elegant look. The accessories can be minimal as the fabric and colour is strong enough to stand alone.

Pretty Tough: A Pearl Sari Blouse & A Leather Jacket

I thought it was time do something a bit different with this punk inspired look. I tend to gravitate towards feminine pieces for my wardrobe and I've always wanted to go a bit tougher, who knew all I needed to do was throw on a leather jacket with dark lipstick!

It's wedding season in the West and I'm always on the look out for something a bit different that is well made, feminine and unique! These items are the ones that have recently stood out to me as being perfect wedding outfits. I'm mainly in love with the embroideries, colours and prints. Love the birds embroidered into the skirt of the Aharin outfit, how gorgeous!

These outfits are perfect for a sangeet, wedding and reception! So unique and they definitely stand out from the crowd, don't you think?

I love summer. The warmth on my skin, the holiday destinations, and the gorgeous bright and fun summer clothing! This year I'm going for an Indian influence in my clothing and accessories. You'll notice alot of pom poms, tassles and prints - these are the things that have caught my eye and inspired my summer style.

Adana Embroidered Kimono

I'm travelling quite a bit over summer this year so I can't wait to share my summer style with you! What will you be wearing this year? Does your closet look similar to mine?
