South Asian Inspiration: French Revue De Modes

A very detailed photoshoot for magazine French Revue De Modes. Through the use of luxurious fabrics, bright colours and stunning jewellery the stylists are able to create an extremely texture heavy shoot that really stands out. What surprised us the most is that many of the items used in this shoot are from designers Christopher Kane, Hermes and Saint Laurent and not South Asian designers- great to see!

Model: Gertrud Hegelund

ALCHEMY FESTIVAL, LONDON 2013

I recently attended the Alchemy Festival at the Southbank Centre in London. Though not completely up to expectations there were some really cute booths including one for Fabindia. Now if you haven't heard of the amazing Fabindia, I highly recommend that on your next visit to India you go to this store. You'll find beautiful Indian inspired products for your home and gorgeous silk saris. Believe me, the website does not do it justice.

Along with Fabindia, there was also a music booth with a live DJ who played some great music. And then of course, there was the food! Lots of competition between the food booths and lots of different things to try. This is an annual festival so keep your eyes open for it next year!
