Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 - Day 2

Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 has a gorgeous display of colour, fabric and so much inspiration. Each collection is different from the next with each designer's personality showing through the items they have created. Below are my favourites.

Sidharta Aryan
A quirky display of traditional India through the prints in this collection. A very eclectic bohemian show with bright colours and gorgeous fabrics that move with the body.

Komal Sood
A 1930s inspired collection full of glam and glitter. Great colours used with plum (one of my favourite colours for fall) being used throughout the collection. I love vintage glam so this show was great to watch!

Pernia Quershi
Beautiful display of monochormatic outfits throughout Pernia Quershi's show. Named 'A Night in Paris', this collection is feminine, lady-like, and extremely sexy. Along with the silk fabrics used throughout the show, I'm in love with the bags! If you missed the show, the video is below. Make sure you watch till the end when showstopper Bollywood star Amy Jackson makes an appearance. Wow, she's sexy!

Babita Malkani
An African inspired collection with fringe, tie-dye, turbans and chunky jewelry. I was never a huge fan of tie-dye, but it actually looks great throughout this collection.

Priyadarshini Rao
Love this collection by Priyadarshini Rao. To me it is a very Indian collection from the cut of the dresses to the brocade used throughout the collection. What do you think?
