Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 - Day 4

Another day of great collections. A very royal feel to the Indian collections with quite a bit of zari work and embroidery. I also liked a few of the Western style collections which featured Moscow and geometric prints - big for Fall 2012.

Bhairavi Jaikishan
A glamourous collection of net saris and lenghas. Similar to Pallavi Jaikishan's collection, Bhairavi emphasized zari work and floral motifs on net saris and lenghas. Definitely a show to watch for a bride-to-be!

Shyamal & Bhumika Shodhan
Was at a loss for words when I saw this collection. Opulent with a Kashmiri influence. Beautiful fabrics with the perfect amount of work.

Ken Fernandes
Interesting collection by Ken Fernandes. I'm really feeling the Moscow style prints and the emphasis on shoulders throughout this collection.

Shivan & Narresh
Great geometric prints used throughout this collection. Do really like the bathing suits, though this show would much more suit a summer or resort collection. Also, the makeup doesn't work - would have preferred a much more feminine look.
