Lakme Fashion Week 2012 Winter/Festive 2012 - Day 3

Day 3 of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 brought in a mix of fusion and Indian wear. I have to say that today I definitely preferred the Indian wear over the Western/fusion wear.

Payal Kapoor
Not so much a fan of the fusion outfits she's created, but do like the Indian outfits - especially the showstopper lengha! Very bridal and very beautiful.

Vaishali Shadangule
Sheer silk and beautiful colours with lots of layering. I think of it as a modern take on traditional India!

Deepika Govind
A gorgeous and fun collection full of colour and prints. Great sarees for those who want to stand out in the crowd!

Krishna Mehta
I really like the way this collection is styled. With the hair pieces, OBI belts, and long embellished jackets, this collection adds a bit more couture to the runway.

Anita Dongre
I always look forward to Anita Dongre's collections because I know that I'm in for a treat. I absolutely love that even though the clothing is very western, you can tell from the patterns and fabrics that it is hugely inspired by India.
