It’s very exciting to be living in a city full of life, individuality, and gorgeous fashion! London is a vibrant city and I don’t have any complaints (well other than the rain!). On the way to work every morning I can’t help but stare at the impeccably dressed people around me. From business suits to leather and lace, I’m inspired by it all. I find myself hiding behind my newspaper and sneakily looking at what everyone around me is wearing! I've always wanted to go up to a well-dressed person and say 'I love your outfit' but honestly, my nerves kick in and I walk away. Coming from a very small Canadian town, I never really gave much thought to what I wore. It was only when I reached my grad year in high school that I realized how beautiful fashion really was, but I still found it difficult to find my own style. Through lots of fashion experimenting in Business school and Fashion school, many trips to India and much time spent online looking at what was happening in Bolly and Hollywood, I feel that I am now, finally, coming into my own and realizing my love for fabrics, textures and colours. I’m extremely feminine when it comes to dressing, I love delicate lace, silks, velvets, and colour. When I watch Bollywood movies and Hindi soaps (yes, love Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) I'm always looking at the outfits. This is what has led me to start a blog to share my thoughts, opinions, and love for both Indian and Western fashion. I am expanding my vision everyday and would love to hear from you about your own unique fashion sense, how India inspires you, and what you wear to work, parties & all other occasions! How do you style your outfits with an Indian touch to it? If you have any questions, opinions, advice, or just want to say hi, please feel free to drop me an email as I would love to hear from you. Looking forward to sharing & exchanging thoughts with you!
