Bandana Tewari - Making a name for herself

"Fashion is like a fantastic hydra-headed monster that is influenced by everything around us – pop culture, state of the economy, global warming, you name it."  - Bandana Tewari, Fashion Director,Vogue India (see full article on Business of Fashion).

Making a top name for herself in Industrie's Fashion Media A-list, Bandana Tewari has moved up through the ranks to become a top commentator in the world of fashion. She has an eye for the latest trends and a strong taste for the luxury market, and she is the only Indian that is ranked alongside high fashion names Franca Sozzani (Editor in Chief, Vogue Italy), Cathy Horyn (Fashion Critic, New York Times), and Suzy Menkes (Head Fashion Report and Editor, The International Herald Tribune). Wow! Impressed, I am.

Bandana's articles are addicting, the type that you could read on for hours and lose yourself in. They are educating with so much information crammed into a a few paragraphs that you are stuffed full of facts that you would not have learned if you read 5 or 6 different articles from a different writer. Opinionated and smart, this woman is moving up to becoming an Indian fashion icon that many of the international luxury brands could take some pointers from. A great fashion role model, Bandana is definitely one to keep an eye on.
